GoB has declared extents of DHAQ Controlled Area vide Gazette Notification No 113 dated 30 May 2018. Presently, DHAQ is acquiring land in general area between Baleli and Kuchlak, along RCD Highway as a part of it's "Phase-I" project.

Presently, DHAQ Affidavit Files are available in the market as exemption against land acquired from land owners. First ballot for installment plots was held on 14th March, 2020. Additionally, 5 Marla Cash plots and Early Bird (1 Kanal with Development Charges) are new breeds successfully launched in the market.

  • Contact/ visit a DHAQ Authorized Estate Agent enlisted on our official website for the purpose of transparency and authenticity. Deals through unregistered/ freelance property agents are likely to have complications.
  • Negotiate the price.
  • Pay the token money only after physically examining the plot file to own satisfaction. If not familiar with DHAQ Affidavit File Security Features or unsure of the authenticity of the file, get it verified from Land Directorate of DHAQ in your own/ trustee’s presence.
  • Must obtain a receipt of payment made to the agent, mentioning token money and balance amount.
  • After verification, make sure to take custody of the same (verified) file before making balance payment. It is entirely up to the buyer’s satisfaction to make the balance payment either after receiving verified file or original Intimation Letter (IL), as per mutual agreement of buyer and the seller/ agent.
  • IL will be issued after minimum three working days of depositing the application in Land Directorate of DHAQ. Read the relevant details in the PROCEDURES Section on website.

There is no official DHA rate of Affidavit files. DHA does not directly sell these files. Instead, the land owner’s/ LPs, who have sold land to DHAQ, have these files for selling in the market.

Overseas Pakistanis can purchase plot files of DHAQ through their trusted representatives. After making a deal on payment of Token Money, however, they must insist to obtain Intimation Letter in their name before paying the balance amount.

Seller gets NDC and submits the required documents to Customer Service Counter (CSC) at DHAQ Main Office or any of its Regional Office. Likewise, purchaser also submit required documents.

If documents are complete, Customer Service Officer will give appointment receipt for transfer of property from Seller to Buyer to the customer, according to available time slot. Documents will be sent to Transfer branch for processing. On the day of Transfer both parties will present themselves at DHA Office for execution of transfer. Original Allocation/ Allotment Letter and membership will be brought at the given date for transfer.

Transfer can be carried out in DHA Head Office or any of its Regional Offices where seller desires to be present. Likewise, Purchaser transfer formalities can also be executed at different DHAQ Regional Office.

If all documents are complete, Transfer Process normally takes three working days, whereas outstation transfer takes 7 to 10 working days to complete the whole process including logistics.
